Special thanks to models Cassandra Paquette, Kadene Kromka and Ashley Eddie for the amazing pictures that helped bring this project to life as well as photographer Mike Rollerson and his models Thanh, Becky, Christina and Jaime who wish to remain anonymous. Also thanks to the Nevada State Train Museum in Boulder City NV for accommodating us. Super special thanks to Yoad Nevo who mixed and mastered this track. Please subscribe to the Cyborg Assassins YouTube channel and share our song 🙂
I would personally like to thank everyone who has supported me along this journey. Today marks the first step in a new era for me and I really appreciate everyone’s continued interest in the music of Cyborg Assassins!
*Please note this is a new pre-save link. The old one is no longer valid as the song got remixed again I had to upload a new song and cancel the old one.
I can’t believe it’s only two and a half weeks away. This has been a year in the making and I’d like to thank Cassandra Paquette and Kadene Kromka for modeling for the cover art photoshoot. This is the first time I’ve ever attempted photography and this is the first picture I ever took in a photoshoot setting. Thanks to Stephanie Cullen for the post production work to make this picture look so good. Because of Covid related issues, the official music video is a ways off but I will be doing a lyric video featuring pictures from this shoot the day the song launches (at least that’s the plan right now lol). Thank you to all who have expressed an interest in my new music and especially to those who have supported me over the years. It really means a lot to me and I hope the new music measures up to your expectations
I’m super excited to say that the first single “Steampunk Woman” has been mixed and mastered and is ready to be released. The release date is Friday, September 17th. There is still A LOT of work to be done including the band mascot artwork which is currently being worked on by Shaun from Halloween Tattoos, the logo which is also currently being worked on, the cover art for the single, the music video and a million other details that will all need to be in place before the first song goes live on Spotify and other streaming platforms. The good news is, progress is being made on all fronts and Cyborg Assassins will be launching a series of NFTs to commemorate our first release as well so stay tuned for that.
In addition to everything I mentioned above, I am also starting preproduction on the second track, Flame Thrower, which I hope to release a couple months after Steampunk Woman. Ideally I would like to release a new song every two months but the initial onramp to that level of production might no happen until 2022.
I haven’t started putting together the band yet for live performances. I don’t anticipate starting that process until after Summer given some of the logistics with Covid and the fact that I am in Las Vegas and the heat is an issue here in terms of initially using my garage as a rehearsal studio. I would anticipate the first Cyborg Assassins show happening in early 2022.
I really appreciate everyone’s interest in the project and look forward to all the exciting times ahead. Have a great week!
Super Excited to announce that all recording has been completed for the Cyborg Assassins debut single “Steampunk Woman” and that famed producer Yoad Nevo has been hired to mix and master the track. Yoad has worked with numerous acclaimed artists throughout his career including Sia, Goldfrapp, Duran Duran, Moby, Pet Shop Boys and Bryan Adams. He is also a technology developer for Waves Audio. His familiarity and experience with rock and EDM made him a perfect choice for the first Cyborg Assassins release. For more information about Yoad, please visit his Website: https://www.yoadnevo.com/
Super excited to announce that Cyborg Assassins has commissioned an artist for the initial band art and t shirt design. After an extensive search I am really happy to say that Shaun from Halloween Tattoos will be doing the initial artwork for the project. Check out some of his amazingly cool stuff: https://www.facebook.com/halloweentattoos
Shaun will be designing our mascot who has been affectionally named Frank after one of the original Cyborg Assassins, Frankenstein. Stay tuned for that artwork in the next couple months. Cyber Assassins is also exploring options for the logo and artwork for the first single called “Steampunk Woman” which will be released on Friday Sept 17th, 2021.
